Photoshop Pasting Problem

    whenever i copy a selected area ( 2nd image below ) and create a new document and paste,,, the pasted image has a blured outline and some white margins ( 1st image ) ,, i dont know why this problem occurs,, i am using CS4,, can u please help me with this,,

    the blured outline is caused my the feather, you're setting it at "2" try to make it zero you'll get sharp edges
    but i don't know what's causing the white outline

    ya your feather is on 2px, look at top left under menu bar (file> etc)

    feather is causing the white outline as your bg is white.

    Hi...

    as a test, before you click Prt Scrn, click somewhere on the webpage first then open up paint and try to paste.

    Apologies if you've already tried that :)
