Photoshop question, mocking up

This is what I've done :
    • I design a blog layout using photoshop.
    • Slice some part, menu, border then make those slicing into different jpg files.
    • Make a core layout in html (header, content, sidebar, etc).
    • Start to replace some part, menu, border using my early saved jpg files coded with CSS

But the result is not good as my early design on photoshop.

Is there an effective way for doing psd to html job like exporting to html or similar way like that ?

Hand coding is the way to go mate.

I used to use Imageready to export HTML, it created the messiest, crappiest code ever!

Once you get more experience with coding, then you should be able to duplicate the original PSD design (unless it's uncodeable!) Just keep practising :)

You're right, exported result usually have lot of mess, so i decided to repeat "redesign" phase using HTML.
