Pinterest - do you use it?

One really good way to get some nice traffic. Some niches are working really well from pinterest. Fashion is one of it..Sharing, commenting are some easy ways to create doors to your money site.

 

I use it, but it just bring less traffic to me

 

Pinterest is a good source of traffic if done properly and has a good number of following.

 

And me too stick together in Facebook and Twitter but i have some idea on Pinterest its seems very nice and some times i will stay on Pinterest.

Pinterest is not for SEO, just look like some advertisement for your product is good on Pinterest.

 

I use pinterest but not as much as instagram. When Pinterest was new I used it more but now I am more active on other social networks.

 

I have not experience with instagram.
How is it @Amanda103 ?? Is there any chance to drive traffic using instagram ??

 

Yes there are high chances of getting instant traffic from instagram. I believe that instagram is on number three social networking site after facebook and twitter due to it's popularity. I suggest go for an instagram account and start uploading relevant and interesting pictures. I have experienced it my self and I have seen positive results as well thrice more than Pinterest.

Pintrest can be great, depending on what you are doing -- if you have something that is at all visual, can express a lot of change through pictures, or has things that are relate-able with pictures it can be very powerful.

For instance in property management I have used it for decorating and organization tips, recipes, history of the town, etc

 

I agree. If you're niche is about writing and literature, it wouldn't help as much, if you are a Graphic Designer on the other hand, Pinterest is a great tool to showcase your work and get traffic while doing it. I'm sure other users have other ways of using Pinterest to promote their website. SEO-wise, I'm not sure it has any benefit at all. I'd love to know as well.

I don't think Pinterest will help with SEO that much. But it is great for driving traffic.

 

I have heard that link wheels also exist for social media profiles but I haven't really seen one. I'm using Pinterest just to promote and get free traffic. How do you optimize it for SEO?

 

I'm old school and find Pinterest a little annoying, not to mention any links you add will be nofollow...

 

I use Pinterest as one of my marketing tools, and I must say it's a good source of traffic indeed!

 

Pinterest has the best conversion rate out of all the big social media channels, so it's def. good for traffic. Even if you're not in a visual field (photography etc.), my opinion is that it's great for promoting your biz; you just need to be creative about it. You can always post pics of jobs, your employees and so forth.

As far as SEO goes, you can use it for link building, but other than that I think it's "indirect" SEO, from the traffic you get, further links, etc.
