Pinterest - What is this site?

In 3 word it's a "Virtual Pin board" and is good for marketing

Someone mentioned using Pinterest with Amazon, but I believe they no longer allow affiliate links. In fact, I remember reading that they will change them to their own links and make money themselves.

If you have the right kind of product, Pinterest can drive a lot of traffic. Pinterst users are mostly women, so if they are your target and you have the kind of pictures that are popular on the site, I don't think anything can get you as much traffic as Pinterest.
Personally, I've found it pretty useless in terms of marketing my blog. Even though I have travel photos, only a very specific kind of travel photo is widely shared on Pinterest.
