A high CTR itself is nothing against the TOS, but placing images near adsense units IS.

That being said, I don't see any images near adsense on your website?

So the setup on that website is alright?? I'm confused. Can Image units be placed with adlinks and adunits as such?

You're using way too many ads.

Yea your ads look kinda messy. I don't know for sure but I place one text rectangle and one image rectage together and that gives me higher click rate.
You can check my site amazingspeed.info or topfamousquotes.com I like the ad placement in topfamousquotes better I don't know why.

I think I have misunderstood the question. I thought he was asking about images (not image units) next to ads.

Sure you could place an image unit, next to a text unit, nothing wrong with that.

FSL_DiGiTAL: Which ad has performed better on your website? Image ad or text ad?

Its currently boosting your chance of getting banned too, and the way you have packed all the ads together like that, ive never seen that before, be careful.

Yeah, I agree... FSL_DiGiTAL is threading a dangerous path. Google may find that offensive...

    Thanks for replying guys,

    are you sure, JohnS0N?

JohnS0N: text ad performs better. and when placing an image ad near a text ad that will bring more clicks on text ads.

pipes: is that will really get me banned? wtf its just adsense images itself!!!?

i wouldnt stay on that site if i loaded it while browsing. The large rectangle ads on top makes the site look ugly. You could do with two skyscrapers on either side of the content and take away the rectangle ads or put one of them in between the content and take other away. Though none of your ad placements seems to be against the adsense TOS

Yes, I'm sure. Read the TOS, you will see you are doing nothing wrong. You can always ask "adsense-support@google.com" about your placement if you have any doubts.

BTW. What is the altogether CTR you receive with this placement?
