Hi, my main site http://www.dvdbargainalerts.co.uk doesnt get many clicks (nor impressions for that matter), but the trouble im so close to it I dont know what to to change any more. I like the layout as it stands, but if any of you guys could give me some tips on how to optimise the adsense i'd appreciate it. The trouble is, due nature of the site the adsense is competing with a lot of other prominent affiliate links, and I need a nice balance between the two.

    Thanks

I'll review ya, but you gotta give me Kate Beckinsale! ;)

Nice blending, I couldn't even tell where the ads were until I looked harder. The only thing I noticed was the urls of the ads get cut off by your tables, which might get you in trouble with adsense (I dunno if it will or not cuz it's not by much, but with this stuff you can't be too careful.) This occured for me in 1280 x 1024 resolution in Internet Explorer.

Other than that I like it, I'd look in to maybe moving it a bit higher up, by perhaps moving the hidden planet pic below the ad, it seemed kind of low to me.

The ones on the bottom were nice as well, as for the placement if you could move them up around the top somewhere that'd be better in my opinion, but meh that's just me.

I'm not what I'd call an expert on ad placement, and often seek advise here as well, so I'll leave that to those that know, but I did want to point out that I'm also seeing the ads getting cut of a little. The skyscraper ones on the left side of the page are getting the right edges cut off. I'm not 100% sure on the TOS, but I'd check up on that first.

Oh, almost forgot, I viewed the page at 1024x768 in Firefox.

I am not 100% sure, but the urls get cut of a little on my site sometimes and I think I have also seen it on other sites.

It is something that I am not worried about as I am sure it is nothing to do with the sites and is something to do with the Adsense ads thereself.

In other words, the urls of the ads are longer than the with of the ads.

So in other words, if this is the case then you can't really do nothing as it is not your fault.

But anyway, I could be wrong, so it may be best to let Google now and ask them why they may be getting cut of.

Just last night I noticed that the ads in a leaderboard format were getting the URL cutoff as well, by the next ad over, so it is indeed the ads and not your fault. Thats the first time I've noticed this! lol

I noticed the skyscraper ads getting their urls cut of a few months back. I hadn't really taken much notice on the others though.
