I think you guys wont like it,
I made a new blog and in two days I got 300+ uniques yay lol.
Anyhow it's the funny law blog, where would the best placement be at?
Also I got .01$ today lol but I got no clicks, and I just reached 50 posts today so it couldn't have been from a forum, so whats that about?
    Thanks.

    1. Use section targeting to target the posts' content.
    2. More content.
    3. less ads. Instead, try an adlink unit at the top, above the content and below the header. Have an 468x60 at the end of each post, before comments, but within the actual post. Do this using <ItemPage></ItemPage> so only one per page is showed. (although only the link unit will show on the main page.)

More is less because adsense shows the highest paying ads first and those are the ones you want clicking. Too many ads then too much low value to click. You might want to place a 120x240 (or 125x125) on the left or right sidebar, so you have an adunit on the main page, I wouldn't go larger than one of those but that's just me personally.
    4. Blend better.

    Good luck.

    1. Will do thanks.
    2. I will be covering all the states and the world.
    3. I may try this.
    4. Actualy Some visitors and friends told me that when I was blending in my ads that they were developping ad blindness and could not see any ads on my site.
    But thanks anyway.

I'd be curious to know if they're the kind of people who click ads anyway? Blend too little and they stick out so much that people know what to avoid (and usually this way develop ad blindness).

Some sites I've visited blended the adlink unit very well:

    Home | adlink unit

I accidentally clicked it because the keywords were very relevant to the site topic so it looked like a navigation. In this case ad blindness (blind to the "ads by google") really helped that webmaster.

    Good luck, mate.

    My suggestions:

Adlinks at the top, under the logo, and a 468 at the bottom of the first three entries on the front page/archive/category listings. I would then recommend cutting the entries short, using excerpts instead, and having 336 boxes at the bottom of the articles in their single posts.

How does the big sky convert for you? I've always found skyscrapers in blogs to be "dead money".

The sidebar ad unit is getting image most of the time for me though.

The CPM is probably what is accounting for your 1-cent earning. Adlinks look good. Are you considering putting a 468 with white background/border underneath each article on the front page? Insert it into the main index template and it'll show up at the bottom of each article, 3 times, then stop after the third. What about doing excerpts instead of full posts? Get the visitor to stick around for a while, clicking...

Hate to say it, but I'm not familiar with Blogger. I've only ever used Wordpress blogs. But with WP, you add codes to the main index (index.php) file. Maybe others will chime in who are more familiar with how Blogger works...

hmm well then, I don't feel like adding a new topic so I'll go ahead here.
I added a picture haa I know it's terrible, but I mostly get adsense ads there. So how could I improve on that? BTW the stats are strange, statcounter says I got 240 uniques today alone, but adsense is reporting over 500!! Which makes me really happy but still no clicks :p.

Ok I fixed it now, check it out. I added a medium rectangle underneath each post. Got rid of the side bar, added the link unit at the top. Also added a site search,(figured it would come in handy later on.) and added a adsense referral button annnddd I added excerpts instead of full posts from now on. Big changes :D, hoping for the best.
What do you guys think now?
