Planning to Start a Website with Live Chat with Dedicated Friends (Operators)

    Hi all,
    I'm planning to start a website as Friends Chat . in that I'm planning to keep dedicated chat operators they will call as Dedicated Friends. it means if any Male wants to chat with female or if any female wants to chat with male he/she can logon to my website and my operators are ready to chat with..!
    Will this concept work? I'm trying to keep this service premium..
    Is this legally allowed ?

    Legally I don't see a problem... restrictions depend on the country you are targeting. The idea doesn't really sound too new or innovative, similar projects exist by the dozen. Probably depends a lot on your marketing skills and budget....

    I am going to have to agree with GreenT. Instead of just a "chat" room, perhaps make it a video chat room, and just think outside the box.

    This is legal, of course, but this is nothing new or unique. You need to develop a USP (unique selling proposition) that will differentiate your site from the others. The others above have mentioned using video chat, and while that is good, perhaps one way to separate yourself apart from the others is to target a specific niche/subniche of people who are looking to video chat. Trying to be all things to all people usually doesn't work too well when it comes to chat rooms.

    Yep. Niche targeting is probably the only thing that could make yet another chat service attractive. But with free alternative I doubt that many will want to pay for it...

    I don't think that is a good idea keeping this as a premium service...why would anybody pay for this, even there are free services for find friends and online dating.. just a thought..

    if you will give a service to people my idea live chat is necessary but if you are going to make a website with entertainment niche it's not necessary

    it depends you , my idea you make a chat room with all of equipment .
