I continue to work on my site and frequently move things around. It has helped a little but I need more suggestions. Please comment on the ad placement, especially on the home page. Thanks, Ozzie

Are you talking about the site in your signature?

If so - hmmm... you seem to really favor the leader board (728) format... I don't think these are going to be that effective in generating clicks (although the one right at the top might be ok).

How is your CTR? If it's not that good then try:

    1. Replacing the ad unit at the top of the page to an ad block (336).
    2. Changing the color of the links within the ads to the typical royal blue color as visitors will associate those with links the most.
    3. Could place images next to the ads to attact more attention.
    4. Make use of the link unit as that is quite effective in generating clicks (obviously depends on placement etc... as well)
    5. Make use the Google ad channels to monitor the performance of ads. Or you could use "AdLogger" which is also a different option.

I can't think anymore tips off the top of my head so I'm going to sleep now - lol...

    Good luck anyway :)

Thank you very much. I'm going to print those suggestions so I can give them lots of thought.

The top leaderboard looks lonely :)

I think you should replace it with a rectangular block inline with your first article.

Just below the top horizontal menublock, you can place a link unit
