    I have a forum in php and it is SMF. Id like to know if I could edit the index.php with notepad and add google analytics tracking code? I hope ypu can help me. Thank you

    nah you'd probably wanna edit the template files rather than index.php itself. i can't remember the specifics with smf, but i know its not hard. look for something along the lines of themes/templates/skins, ending in .tpl (maybe), or files like header, footer, viewthread etc...

    Can I add adsense code by editing the index.php or the template file. I would like to put adsense on top

    you have to edit the template files (.tpl) to put your adsense and google analytical as per i know....
