Please help me improve ad positioning on my website

Hello Digital Point forums! This is something I struggle at, placing ads around my website. To be honest my website has awful earnings to what it should be, 12,000 hits a day with an average user spending 12 minutes on the website. Yet I earn just between $3.00-$6.00 a day.

My current release of my website (http://msgstuff.com) is where this money is coming from. I've neglected where I've placed my ads, they simply don't work for me. In a couple of weeks I will be releasing an update to the website (http://www.preview.msgstuff.com) which hopefully will earn me more money with better ad placements.

I've been told the website big potential and I was wondering what you think that is? Also any tips on colours, positions and tips for ad placements in general will help me a lot. I really would like tips specific to my website. Thanks for your help :).

if you use the forum search funciton of THIS forum - then you will find very extensive and most detailed tips we published earlier this year about colors, formats and placements of adsense.

    btw
its NOT the hits that make the revenue - its the unique visitors/page impressions that matter
