Please help me increase my extremely POOR CTR!

IN the last 5 hours, my CTR has been improved to 2.91%, but my earning per click is very small today (earlier it was $0.2-$0.3 per click but now it is only $0.07 per click!) I don't know but does ad link unit provides smaller "cents" per click than normal ad unit?

 

Well my average earning now is approxmately 2%, but actually I want to improve it to at least 3% since most of my visitors are not loyal (new visitors from SE)

I am sorry if i am wrong but what i think you 100% need an Ad unit at Top, use 728x90 (Text only Ads unit) at Top just below the Header Image, plus i saw you gave an Link unit on left side just between "Site Navigation" & "Laptop Products" and used the same color as your menu also didn't give any space between, this may cause you some problem, If you still want to use that Link unit give some space, but what i think you should remove that unit and give 160x600 Text only Ad unit under "Laptop Products" and do use a little heading "Advertisement",

Remove the middle 300x250 middle units completely , and as well as Footer 468x60 Ad and replace it with one 468x15 Link Unit.

If all above doesn't increase you CTR, try what i have suggest you and see what happens, but allow 2,3 days use Text Ad units only.

Also i want to mention one thing here, if someone is thinking that he or she might get 100$ from just 1000 page views a days or from the site which is getting about 300 to 400 unique hits a day, then its wrong. and if some one is making 100$ by that much traffic then thats the luck, normally to earn 100$ a day you need at least about 2000 unique visitors a day or 10,000 pages views

hi xnetspider, i'm getting more than 500 visitors per day and about 80% of this traffic comes from Google after I optimized this site so I think i deserve more than 2% CTR. Thanks for your suggestion, i'll try it start from tomorrow.

 

I have found that Link units pay better in all my cases.. somehow..
