Please help me to edit a image in photoshop

    I have an image in gif format it is a logo image for a template. I downloaded the template but no psd file. The logo image says "My Template" but i want to change it to "My Site" how do i do it photoshop.

    How does the file look like? If the text is not covering the logo, you can easily just:
    - Open the file in photoshop
    - Select the "My Template" text and delete it
    - Create a new text layer and type in "My Site"

    there are no layers i cannot remove "My Template"

    Is it overlapping the icon though? If you can post up the image file I can have a better idea about how you can solve the problem..

    Doesn't sound hard although if My Template intrudes on something else it might make it harder. If 8everything doesn't come up trumps, I'm sure she will as she obviously knows her stuff, I'll take a look at it.
    I'm wondering however whether you have the rights to this image?
