Please help me with banner ad, button ad rates

    Hello, I am brand new to this website and also to web advertising sales.

    The current website that I am working for has just started to sell ad space on their site. Right now they offer 125 x125 button ads, and a 468 x 60 banner ads.

    What has been nearly impossible for me to find online, is how to establish pricing for these ads.

    Our site consistently gets between 250 and 300k unique visitors per month. We have sections all over the site to advertise in and some sections provide more average monthly impressions than others. But ads in our most popular section will get around 200-300k impressions a month. This is also mostly targeted advertising.

    I have no idea of what I should be charging.

    Even if you do not know pricing, would you feel that $500.00 a month flat fee for the sections getting 200k-300k impressions is fair? and $250.00 for 80k to 150k?

    i charged upon cpm (cost per mille). First analyze right worth of your site space and then do this.
