Please help with my site

I've had my site www.clubufc.com up for about 3 months now. I'm barely making $1.00 a day right now and just below 1% for CTR. Is their anything I should do for fixing the layout, type, or color of my ads? Is my site fine and it just takes time for a new site to get going? Also, what amount of traffic is needed to really make $50-100 a month and $200-300? Thanks for any feedback.

    Page loads slow for me.
On top - Spli the picture in 2 and put them right above the ads.
Move the search box elsewhere or remove it. It won't make you rich.
On left - remove the title "ads" 'cause you don't want or need it.
On right - same thing, but move the ads upper. maybe between the calendar and the lates forum posts. Down there they're harder to see. ;)

for us 2000+ unique visitors equals $70+ a month. The thing that works the best for us is the adwords link units... on your site I would put the link units in the center... or after the entry... you be suprised by how many people don't realize the link units are actually ads and not content on your site.

checkout this article on how to track which links user clicks on...
    http://labnol.blogspot.com/2005/12/visitor-click-tracking-in-adsense.html

use that to track what sections on the site users are clicking and then find the appropriate ad unit type and place it in the area.

You can also accomplish this by setting up a channel for each of your ad units.
