I saw a recent post in the main AdSense forum and people are suggesting only to have 2 ads on the page to maximize earnings. That being said I tend to agree and was wondering if you guys would let me know which is better (i assume my text link is perfect :D )

    - getting rid of the 300x250 to the right
    - getting rid of the 468x60 to the right just below the 300x250
    - getting rid of the 120x600 skyscraper to the far right
    - any other suggestions?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

You could setup 3 different channels in your Adsense account, even more if you want to test colors at the same time, and let them all run for about 2weeks-1month.

The see which 2 banners are making the most money or which 2 of them has the best CTR.

You don't necessarily have to test both placement and colors at the same time though, but it's the best way as a different color ad might outperform a previous winning ad.

    Hope this helps.
