[Please review and feedback] New WP theme design, 40% drop in AdSense income

    Hi,

I have just incorporated a new WP theme for my biz blog:

    NOOBPRENEUR DOT COM

The new design is obviously bringing more traffic and income through banner and text link advertising. One pitfall that I regret: AdSense income is going down by as much as 40%, right after I implement the new design.

Previously, I use the tweaked version of dosh dosh's WP theme optimized for Adsense.

The main changes would be going from a 3-column design, with 1 column dedicated for Adsense (I use 2 160x600 ad unit) - placed on the right side of content - to a 2-column design, with 2 250x250 ad unit placed - one on top-right, one on the right side of the latest blog post.

    Any advice?

    Thanks!

ads in the right column are not seen by the visitors. Put 336x280 ads at the top of the page in the main column.

Thanks, guys for the tips -

I've been thinking about in-post Adsense ad, but I'm not sure about the placement - The top-left of the post is effective, IMO, but I don't want to remove the descriptive images for the sake of displaying ads.

As of the top of main column ckgni suggested sized at 336x280 - That's what many suggest me before - Is it effective?
