Hello, I am new to adsense and recently built a blog and got started with adsense. Can someone please give me some advice as I am a newbie, such as place for ads, etc. Thanks a lot!

    Hey,

Tyr a 336*280 large rectangle above "most popular sites for weblogs" OR remove this line and place the ad there. Will surely give you a higher CTR. Just dont put the ad below the "most popular sites for weblogs" line as this would be labeling and is not TOS compliant.

The blog and content look decent.

on firefox it looks really bad, the first adsense has part of it hidden, by other elements on the right. That's against tos.

overall the ad placement is not good, you should go with 336x280 blocks and use adlinks and google search. search for "adsense heatmap" on google
