    I have recently started to play around with the adsense placement on my blog and was able to lift CTR from a weak 0.6% to 1.7% just by changing the ad from "big skyscraper" (floating on the right of the text) to the big box above the fold there is now. Please review the ad placement and tell me what you think.

    This is a sample link, as the adsense is only on the content pages.

    Just recently gave the box a left border (grey) , this boosted the result by another 0.7 %.

    What I also thought about was moving the image below the ad to the right, but I'm not sure about this.

    If the place of the adbox is fine the link unit ought to go somewhere at the bottom near the "similar posts" section, hmm maybe name it "related sites", but that wouldn't be exactly true and I guess reputation would suffer a bit.
