I would try blending the left 160x600 with the same colors as your sidebar menus so they blend in more. Also, i would try a 300x250 wrapped in content rather than the 160x600. Test both, I bet you the 300x250 wrapped in content will get higher revenues. I would also get rid of 468x60 unless they were performing better than 1%. One more thing, you can put the 300x250 on just single pages so they are highly targetted, don't put it on for the home page or category pages. Let me know if you make more money!

    -Leave the Google Search box
-Remove the 468x60 ads above the Post Title
-Add the biggest "square/rectangle" ad block within the content align to the left

Main idea is got get the ads "above the fold" and having it within the content will help with displaying more targeted ads.

Also, if you think ads are annoying, there's a method to only show ads to search traffic using javascript. I use this on sites that get low CTR, it keeps my CTR as high as possible for crappy sites that get a ton of traffic or quality sites I don't want to bombard with a bunch of ads. It's like Chitika ads made for Adsense. I should have a blog post on that soon so, watch out for that.
