I am extremely new to adsense and websites, but I created a MU blog, and I think I have the ads placed good, could someone take a look? The main site is http://checkmyhead.com but my personal blog, that I have been trying like crazy to fill with content is at http://bill.checkmyhead.com
    Thanks

For the google adsense ads on both panels, I would change the black background to the same dark grey BG color you're using on your template.

I agree - your blog looks great so far but I would personally try something different for a bit and see if the clicks improve.

I would suggest moving to text based ads and getting the ads to appear similar to the menu bar already above the adspace. While Google now disapproves using images to increase page clicks, there is no problem at all with having the ads appear similar to the main navigation (in both appearance and location).

I would suggest you to place 468X60 ad the at top of "Entire RSS" - In the main text area

Thanks to all, Great ideas, I didn't notice the differance in colors (8everything), I am going to fix that today, and in the menu bar, thats a very good idea.

itsonlychand786 - by adding a 468X60 ad above the rss, would that give me too many ads for google though?

answered my own question, by putting up a refferral in place of the RSS, made some of the changes above too, but I cant figure out how to change the text color of the ads to match my red text color that is being used, I think it would look a lot better, google doesnt have the matching red though, and in the referral ads google doesnt have an option to change the color, just comes out white, I know it is in the style sheet somewhere, but I cant figure it out at the minute
