    Hi everyone,

    it would be nice, if some of you would review my adsense placement. I did a complete relaunch of the page two weeks ago and noticed an increase in CTR to about 1% (page, not single adblocks) and i am wondering, if you see a chance to increase this somewhat.

    My website is http://www.pimp-my-sims.com and is a fansite related to The Sims 2.

    Thx in advance for any hints or suggestions.

    The placement is fine considering your layout.

    I suggest you change the color scheme of the ads so that they blend into your site and not stand out.

    Content area has excellent blending. For the ads on the right, I would change your url colors to black instead of blue for better blending.

    thx for the advice. I changed to url color at the right to black.

    And i'll try a 50/50 test with blue headline and black links vs. red headlines and black links for the singleview pages, where the contrast is maybe to strong right now.

    As a short feedback after 24 hours:

    The adblock in the right column performs slightly better with the black colored urls. The large rectangle in the middle shows no difference in CTRs. The blue titel one has 200% higher eCPM today, but that seems to be just a lucky row of high-priced clicks :)
