    I am getting very poor click trough rates on my site. I get around 1,000 to 1,800 unique hits a day and less than 10 clicks per day.

    change your header ads to text links without descriptions. People often confuse these with navigation menu and click them inadvertantly. Its kinda shady, but many and most do it.

    Add images above banner. Someone on this forum(I can't find thread) has done this and his CTR is very higher.

    I would suggest putting the skyscraper on the left. That's where I put mine and they are doing very well.
