I have been mixing it up a bit but can't get much to get good CTR. The pay for each click is good though but ctr is low. The website in for review is my blog:

http://www.uniongraphite.com (often gets 1000 uniques a day with no clicks)

I can see only one link unit on Your website.
Try to put a 336x280 under each post or a put a 200x200 image ads on the left and on the right put only text 200x200 ads (all under post). On my blog it worked.

hmmm I never liked an idea of having ads inserted into articles in front/home page. It is always better to have a dedicated location Left / right side of the template in homepage, where as in article page you can have an ad inside/blended inside the article.

A Search box might fetch you few $ a month. Do have that one, it is really handy.

There are three you just have to go further down. My latest posts have been small and i tend not to advertise on small irrelevant ones.

placement is good but i think you must use the same colours with your theme.

your theme bacground is white but your ads background is green.

use white for both of them

I don't like your adsense placement, too few too low down the page. Don't be shy about it. No wonder your ctr is low too. Good luck with it if you're ashamed of having adsense on your blog.
