    For your header area, make it all grey and then make the background of the ad grey (and change the font color to black of course) For the rest of your ads, the placement is okay, I would change the font colors to something else though.. sky blue maybe.

    the top ad unit must be blended with the image on the left. gray background, green + red combi for ad unit's url and title or may be black. You will have to experiment and determine that part.

    The link ad unit would do better if you move it just below the top image header and place horizontally. (just above the ::partners)

    great suggetion for the linkunit gravis :D , did a 728x15 for it.

    about the header image , its still being made, this was a quick job kinda.

    Also wondering , if its okay to have the adsense banner next to the websites image on top. I had read somewhere one cant place adsense next to a image.

    That should not be a problem as long as that's your site's main header image featuring the logo of the site ;)

    Also, the link unit has little bit of margin beneath it, try to eliminate that.. or make it align middle.. does not look so nice .. ;)
