Hello. I have just created a message board and have put up adsense. Please let me know how I can improve. I have not advertised this board yet so there have not been any visitors. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you. www.couponsdealsandsales.com

You could add a horizontal links block under your logo. Also make the blend the background of your ads with the background of your site. Are you going to place any ads between posts?

Thanks... It's weird, on some browsers the ads blend in and some it doesn't. Yes, the ads show up after the 1st post in each thread.

Putting your Leaderboard in the middle of your board like that forces the site to be stretched, making it difficult for anyone with an 800X600 res screen to navigate your site.

It looks like a good, clean board with soothing blue tones. I like it.

yeah it's better, but your white backgrounds are still not matching up totally in my browser (opera 8.54). The difference is not as obvious now though.

    Your site looks fine.

Regarding adsense, the ones on top of the post blend in ok, but the ads after the 1st post don't blend in. Try changing the surrounding dark blue so that it matches the background color of the ads after the 1st post.

Thank you for your replies. The ads after the 1st post are stuck in that blue bar. If I change the background, I would have to make the ads white..... I feel stuck... Do you know of a way to make it so the adsense isn't in that blue bar? Thank you.

That's weird. In my browser your adsense after the first post already have a white background.

All I can suggest is to change the background of the adsense to dark blue, or place the adsense under the dark blue bar.

Follow these steps to put adsense after the first post - not in the blue bar...

    http://www.askdavetaylor.com/phpbb_trick_for_including_google_adsense_between_articles.html

You can modify it a bit if you like... I made it so ads come up after the first post and after the last post on my site
