    Yeah, you're basically blending in with the content, and the menus, in a soft way.

    Looks good, one thing you could do however is your links that are under your right hand Adsense (the link style ones) you could make your links look exactly like the Adsense block.

    I found this to be effective on sites in the past and have seen it done on other sites. I'm not sure if that's a good way or not because it does look deceiving but it's mainly up to the webmaster.

    Did you design the template from scratch? I think it looks really good -- definitely subtle, but I think you'll be getting a lot of clicks with the right traffic!:)
