Hey guys, after reading through the threads on placements etc, I've finally blended a few more ads into my site.

Please tell me what you think- http://www.timw.com.
Some pages will only display two ads in total, whereas others display all three (i.e. pages with comments).

    Cheers :)

The placement is fine, specially the one a the top, but for the one in the right column, the "ads by Google" is cutted displaying only "ads by Go".

Maybe it will not be a problem, but I think you should resize your layout.

Ouch. Your Google ad is a half-banner (234x60) in the right column. That's not the correct ad format for a narrow right-side column. How about a 120x240 or 120x600 (probably a little too much) -- something more narrow to match the width of the column.

Also, you ads are about blogging, which is a typical and understandable problem with blog sites, particularly those that are not themed tightly to a specific topic. Google has a difficult time figuring out what the site is about and displays only blog ads, which are probably not of interest to your visitors.

I suggest using section targeting (see Google Adsense site for explanation) and change your site title (tag) to something more akin to the actual theme of your site -- and remove the word 'blog' from the title.

    Hope this helps.

Normally what i fines is that the meta tags
With the rss feed and the rss comments will influence what ads are shown on your website I.E RSS feed related or blog ads will be shown.
