Hi! I'm pretty new to this forum and just found out what adsense was. I applied for it on Friday and got approved Monday.

If anyone has any comments on ANYTHING about the site, (not done, just created on sat. and sun.), please let me know.

    Thank you in advance

Nice, clean looking site. Put a 4-ad adlink on your left column, either at the very top, or between your content links, and that should become your highest money earner. Also, change the mustard-colored borders for your 468 ads to white, same as the background.

Thank you. Too bad I don't have time to change that tonight. Can't wait. I still haven't publicized the site yet. I want to get it cleaned up and filled with articles.

the google ads looks good , and the one in the middle of the text will bring you some clicks for sure .

to me the right side of the site seemed too empty

I think it looks great. I would move the adlinks up from the bottom and put them into your left navigational bar vertically.

All in all, I think it's great. Good job.

What the other fellow said, about putting your ad links at the top left column instead of giving it up on the bottom, which is a terrible spot, and it'll never convert. Plus, you might to consider not overloading your ads at top. Newbies tend to do this a lot, believing that the more ads they have on one page, the more they'll make; it's usually wrong. The more ads you have, the more those ads are obviously ads. If I were you, and it's only my opinion, I would put the adilnk at the top, left column, then either remove the side banner or the 468 in the middle. Right now you're simply plastering ads everywhere. Just because Google allows you to put as many as 3 banners and 1 adlink on your site, you don't have to actually do it.

    Jack,

That's amazing advice. I am actually going to take that into account on my own sites.

Thanks, even though this isn't my thread.

You got me thinking also - After all the work of putting a site together we assume that of course the visitor will want to read all of it, and then when they are done - at the bottom of the page - they will look for somewhere else to go.

Not so - they skim and do it quickly. I knew this yet still put my ads at the bottom.

    Gotta think on this.
