    The traffic is good, however I believe the ad revenue could be better...

    I'd move your adsense just below the header and would merge it better with the rest of the site using the same color palette :) just my 2 cents

    The text ads below the header look good. I would use the same blending on the ads at the footer of the page as well. According to most ads that blend with your site usually perform better.

    Best thing to do is make the changes and then track the performance. From there it's pretty obvious. If you see a positive change you did something right if you see a negitive response you either need to try something else or change it back to the way it was.
