I thought you have been banned for this kind of SPAM. Find another forum for this scrap!

It's OK to promote your own stuff here but it's the poster's choice as to how much he/she's willing to put his/her reputation on the line.

There isn't much difference between this post and people asking for directory submissions.

And at least he puts around 30 good posts in between these type of posts now.

He seemed to have been banned under different ip's and he finally figured out that you attract more bees with honey than vinegar. ;)

Why is it that owners of sites called RANDOM-CASH-MACHINE.COM are more likely to spam? :D

That's the result of his marketing decision he'll have to live with...

Did anyone have a look actually?

I looked and its a pyramid scam mixed with a bit of random payouts ;)

Its obvious from the beginning though so its not like it tries to trick you.

The other clue is that the guy that started this thread has read every response and has not responded (according to his profile).

If it wasn't Spam he would have jumped right in (at least I think most people would have).

    Oh well

I'm trying to understand the mindset and that makes a lot of sense to me, when there is no reputation to maintain, then why not hit and run wherever you can.

like you've said ... "oh well"

No, I'm not as cool as Compar. :( He makes people hang themselves with his wonderful big words and clever comebacks, I on the other hand just swear.

But I don't like Ben. He is really aggravating.

I would agree that there is way too much blatant advertising and self-promotion on this forum. It used to be that's what sig links were for... now, with certain people (you know who you are) in certain forums here, every second post is "come to my directory/forum/blog"... it's nauseating.

Cant believe this, iv posted up a link to my forum so people can advertise there programs for free and all people want to do is backlash me.

OK, I admit i did not no what i was doing when i joined this forum so what i wrote may have been seen as spam (though i promise it wasnt intentional, just trying to attract visitors like everyone else). But i have learnt the error of my ways and i see how it would piss people off.

like YFS1 said, i have tried to post quite a few legitamate posts and replys before posting this thread again so as not too annoy anyone but is it so bad if i just put one little link to my forum.

Its free and to no profit to myself, im just doing it to try and create a community of like minded people. You dont even have to join the forum to post your links.

Sorry yet again but i thought it would be ok to put this one post up as i am trying, and will continue to be an active member of this forum, and hopefully help other people with problems that i can help with.

If you would like me to go i will, sorry.

    Ben

Ben, why can't you just use your signature links like everyone else? Then you wouldn't have this problem. That way you get your little shot of advertising in all of your posts, but it won't piss anyone else off.
