    According to Google vertical ads don't do as well. Looking at your site, my eyes don't really even go to those ads you have on the left.

    I would try to squeeze some horizontals into the forum itself near the top, and get rid of the verticals. Just an idea.

    I think you should remove the left hand ads... annoying and i think few ppl will actually click on it. You might want to put just one on the top and one on the bottom. And, one after the first post.

    Your site will then look more professional.

    I would think about all of the test colors being the same and to add some banner ads between the tabs as you scroll down the page.
    Check on my blogrush link for more traffic, ground floor op.
