    I don't see anything wrong with the current placement. Even the ads seem to blend well with the site.
    However if I were you, I would remove the adbrite image ads located at the bottom. 3 adsense ad units should be enough.

    You could try 3rd party blogger templates available on the web. There are a few good themes which you can apply to your Blogger site. Google 'blogger templates'.
