pls tell me what's wrong with adsense on my site

I have been using adsense on my site for 3 months. I had PSAs on the homepage a few days back but regular ads have returned yesterday.

I get 10-300+ page impressions daily but most of the time I get no clicks on the ads? How can I improve this situation? I can see adsense displays relevant ads on my site, the ads are above the fold as I was advised to do, I think the ads blend well with the site's pages, and yet I'm earning almost nothing from adsense.

Can you please take a look at my site and tell me what's wrong with it as far as adsense is concerned? Is it the placement? Is it the ad templates? Or the colors?

I hope you can help me, especially the pros in here. I'm completely a newbie website-builder and all I have in my adsense account is less than $2. And that's for 3 months!

Nothing really wrong with your site.
You can probably change your link colors. Try to blend them or change them for other more appealing.
But in the end you need more traffic, 10-300 impressions aren't much.

Yeah, I know I need loads of traffic. How many page impressions does one need to have to earn a decent click? I know that's kind of impossible to estimate but any idea on any such impression-click ratio?

What do you know of sites like mine? Are they that hard to earn adsense revenue from? Or are they that hard to get traffic for?

Well number of ads/no of visitors are seems to be need of hour.
Site looks good and may need some promotional activities , social book marking,link building ....
If you are getting 1000+ visitors per day you may expect at least $2 per day.

Any way if you choose rectangular big sized ads format of google ads,they will serve more
picture ads and even rectangular ads performance is better as per people ecxperience.
