    There is a very good amount of traffic but crap my CTR is getting too low. Tell me where should I place ads there and where I am placing is it good.

    get the word out dude..

    ask your friends to use your site regularly..
    ask some bloggers to review your site..
    advertise your site on different same niche blogs..
    participate in DP discussions and inform people about your site..
    later when you earn some money than add more functionality to it..you see you need to be different from others..

    gray color is horrible

    also put ads between content

    my ctr is 5%+++

    what is ur ctr

    use like me ads unit at top with red color

    The large ad is too close to the text field for inputting URL. You risk accidental clicks, Google doesn't like that risk.
