personally, i wouldnt click any of the ads on your site. they look too much like ads. the link unit at the top has a white background whereas the background behind that is grey.
also, the 120x240 banner at the left doesn't blend in at all. a neon green border isn't really needed as there's no neon green borders on anything else on that page.

you might want to make it blend in a bit more by putting it in the same styke of table as "Statistics" etc. you can replace the word with "advertisements" or something. at least that way your ad will blend in some more.

also, try putting a 728*90 leaderboard at the bottom so that visitors have something to read/click when they've finished playing the games etc.

it doesn't look like you're using channels, so you might want to try that. go here and add some custom channels, you can have one for each individual ad unit to monitor it's performance. if they aren't performing then you can replace them or whatever.

I appreciate the advice! So from what I've seen from looking at other's add's, most webmasters basically "trick visitors into clicking on their google links". I guess that's good. Yeah I want money but I would also just like to keep it real. I feel that after a lot of work and dedication that maybe something will go and happen, legit like. I'm really not in the phase to make money by tricking google or their advertisers.
Thank you for your advice. Greens for both you guys.

You know, while we are on the topic of humour portals, maybe you guys could offer me some suggestions. I'm only getting like a 3% CTR with my site Linkstink dot.com. I did have a large rectangle at the top, but took that out. Also, I've added the links to the left.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

tony its not a good idea to hijack another members thread if you want your site evaluated or commented on you may want to start your own thread. This helps keep things organized and you will get more direct advice for your site. Try posting another thread.

    cheers

I really have to disagree with you there.

Just because you wont click on the ad doesnt mean hundreds of others wont.

It all depends on your visitors and you will need to test between blended ads and really stand out ads - use your channels to track which ads are attracting people.

That Neon green border is the first thing that attracted my eye, if it had something I was interested in then I would probably click it....exactly what you want and would give better payout.

Blended ads seem to work the best for most people

I personally like the ads that look like ads more. Most of the time I read them and sometimes I click them. What I dont like about the blended ads is they make me accidently click them. And it really makes me dislike the site.

Yeah test it out for a while and see how it works for your visitors. Remember track them with your channels.
