Are you guys watching the Presidential debates tomorrow? September 30th, 2004

Can you all watch and vote in the poll on who you think won the debate and give your comments on why you think they won?

This will be fun and feel free to comment as the debate is taking place.

Only vote on this one debate in this thread so we can judge who won this first debate.

Please do not vote until the debate takes place or is started, if you do not watch the debate please do not vote, is that fair?

    DEAL :D DEAL :D

Well NC, you were right, Kerry did win the debate, Bush was un-nerved and really did not look Presidential.

I think Kerry looked a LOT more in control and did a much better job.

How about the World court issue, Bush did not want to sign it because they would arrest half his family and friends :D

Here is the thing, Kerry has never been President. He has not had to deal with any of the things that Bush has. Bush can't attack Kerry on his past policies etc.. only the other way around. I thought they both did really well. Everyone knew that Bush was going to have to be on the defensive and he did well against a guy who has been a .... wait for it.... MASTER DEBATER, his entire life.

Now, I believe that the general US public will not take into consideration that one guy has never had to deal with anything Bush has, so I believe they will look at it like you did AC. That is neither right or wrong, just my opinion. In all honesty, if I were to head to the polls today as an American, I would probably vote for Kerry based on what I saw today. Either Kerry or I would void my vote.
Good luck to you my brothers and sisters to the south. Your decision has a massive affect on our world, please make the right one, what ever that is....

You must have drank too much already..
I will admit that Kerry did a great job at the debate, he is a master debator. But Bush was himself and as usual civil, not as refined, but also more willing to do what is right and not shoot himself to take leave like kerry did in Nam. (and then make up how all the US troops were doing what Kerry had done - torture, rape, etc...)

I read a topic earlier where you responded to a post with the following comment:

I was totally impressed when I read your response in that forum. In fact I thought perhaps I had misjudged you.

I wonder now if you will come to the decision that this is a webmaster forum and not a place to state your personal political convictions as fact?

We do have a national election coming up, would you allow us Americans to discuss this issue on the night of a national debate or did Mrs. Bush send you out tonight?

Maybe we should not discuss something that is important to the future of all of us (life and death matters).

Did you see the 35 plus children that died in Iraq today or would you want us to hide this also?

Hey Cricket, please don't take offence, you and Debunked just caught me at the wrong moment.

Well at least you got me mad enough to look at your member profile and look at your website, quite a great design and a great resource also.

Sorry if the subject matter being discussed seems offensive to you, but I have had it with the way things are going the last 4 years in my business because of the recession.

I just feel we need new leadership in this country at this time.

That is all there is to it, nothing personal against you or Debunked, you just seem to be able to get to me for some odd reason :)

Prior to this debate, I was truly undecided, but after seeing John Kerry speak, I will definitely be voting for him. Kerry set forth real points in support of his position on the war. Conversely, President Bush seemed to continually rely on the assertion that Kerry flip flopped. This seems to have become a trend for Bush. Rather than speak to his own record and things he and his administration have done, he has attempted to garner votes with the use of sound bites. Bush the one who is supposed to be the "master debater" had trouble enunciating words and often had to pause because he has no clear train of thought. Kerry said that yes he voted for the removal of Sadam but did not think Bush would go and Start a War wanted NATO involved. And he also said that when we look at the war separate it from the warriors. This election is very important VOTE or DIE !!

Bush was also allegedly a master debator on whose team I don't know. At least Kerry actually served where is Bush's actual papers hidden from the public. Can You answer this question where is Osama Bin Laden?? Why is Haliburton getting rich of of this War. ?? I don't want the common civilian running my nation (Bush had his chance and blew it) our nation is weakened because of him NO one should Trust him he lied. Sadaam did not attack us. Kerry for my future and America's Future.

    Election 2004 Vote or DIE
    Vote for Bush and (DIE)

John Kerry has been in the Federal Government for over 20 years, so I think he knows what he is talking about.

But the better thing is that John Edwards is a fantastic bonus, this guy is THE future.

As far as Bush is concerned, he is just a substitute for dear old DAD, everyone in the Bush administration are the same idiots that screwed up the first Gulf war.

This is nothing more than an extension of the failed Bush administration of the early 90's who let Saddam make a fool out of this country then and even today we are still looking like fools.

The question is this, do we want another 4 years of the Bush Family Administration who we did not elect in the last election?

Why elect them in this one?
