Problem changing certain folder icons

Hi all,

I'm bored with the standard Windows XP icons so I downloaded some to replace them. I know how, and I have successfully changed some, like the My Computer and My Documents icons.

Unfortunately, on the My Music, My Videos, and My Pictures folders, when I right-click them and hit Properties, only the General and Sharing tabs are there - not the Customize tab, which is where you can change the icons.

Can someone help me out and tell me what the secret is, or link me to a program that will let me change them?

Right click on the icon for the folder, e.g. My Music, then Properties. Choose the Sharing Tab at the top.

At the bottom of that tab you will see;
"The options on this tab are disabled because this folder is in another folder that is private.

Click on the hyperlink, another folder.

This will take you to the appropriate folder to allow you to customise the icon.

 

Don't have that option...
