Problem creating categories on wordpress

    Hello,

I'm getting crazy trying to create categories with wordpress. I have about 15 categories to add but they are all "invisible" at home page if i not post content linked with each category.

If I create category x, y and z. And only post content on category y for example, I'm able to see only category y, category x and z will be not visible at my home page. Is it a bug or is complety normal, not being possible to publish categories with empty posts?

Obviously its normal, if your category isn't having anything in it what it will show :)

When you write a post you will see the categories in the Post in Category list. Look properly to your right side of your post editor.

How could a webpage display something that actually doesn't exist? Write a couple of articles for each category and you'll be all set.

I can understand your concern, I used to have that question too! But try with a post, put in a new category and you will see - you can then delete

Isn't it logical? If you have no post under a category why to list it up? If user clicks will get nothing.
