Problem with Adsense LinkUnit in Wordpress header

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to put a 728x15 link unit adsense into my wordpress site header just below a carousel, I paste the code after the last </div> and it works flawlessly in Firefox.
    However, when I try the site in IE or Chrome, only the header and the sidebar show up and the actual content is nowhrere to be found!
    How come it works in FF but not IE? Is IE too stupid to understand a few lines of JS?!
    Now, any solution for this issue is much appreciated
