Problem with my Cricket blog:

Hi,
I am having a cricket blog hosted at blogger.com.It was doing really nice,having 150/day visitors and 1-2$/day with adsense.It is a PR-5 blog.But now with the start of Cricket worldcup,when traffic was on rise,suddenly Google has thrashed my blog out of SERPs.Even with searching for my blog URL now,I can't see it on #1 instead there are the sites which are linking ot my blog on top positions.The traffic has really died up!
So,I wanted to know what can i do to get back my Search engine position as soon as possible in order to take maximum out of this Cricket Worldcup fever.

First of all, spend some money on a domain name. That's all that seems to lack professionally, since you have good content. Keep gaining inbound links and producing good content and Google will serve you well.

 

You are being hit with duplicate content penalties because all this content is from the BBC.

 

I never noticed that. There was me thinking it was good unique content.
