Nope... I don't know of any bugs with the New Posts stuff. But it *is* different. Read this.

Hard to say with about 200 new posts a minute here, but I think it's only showing unread posts for me.

    Aha!
Heh. I spent so much time messing about with my browser settings, checking cookies, logging in and out, rooting around in folders and control panel settings ... I didn't think to read the forum. Duh!

What a coincidence! I have a computer crash and then DigitalPoint is different. Who would've thought it was actually the forum and not me. A first :p

So, to summarise for those who are wondering:

    DigitalPoint Forums have changed.

To activate 'Quick Reply', hit that little orange arrow at the bottom of any post and viola.
There is a bug somewhere or other that required the change
The 'New Posts' feature is not as it once was. It lists everything unless you 'Mark all Forums Read', which you can do from the bottom of the Main Forum Index, or you can just bookmark(let) this: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?do=markread and it will sort out your cookie
    It was not my fault
My computer crashed because of a dodgy video driver which couldn't keep up with XP SP2 and who would have thought it but when I submitted the error report to M$, for the first time ever, it gave me a solution and a link to exactly the right page at ATI! Another first.

    Thanks (again) Shawn.

No, mcfox... it WAS your fault.

BEFORE your stupid computer crashed, this was the same old familiar DP for me too. AFTER your stupid computer crashed, I had to relearn how to set the controls for the heart of the sun all over again.
