Processing Checks

    I have an occasional customer who wants to subscribe to my website, but they do not have a credit card. I normally allow them to mail a check or money order to me. This doesn't occur very often and it's anonying having to drive into the bank to deposit 1 check for $30 bucks. I'd prefer being able to process the check electronically.

    I was wondering, is there a service available where I might enter the check's routing number, account number, etc... And process the subscribers check electronically. I'd keep the check as evidence that they did authorize the transaction.

    Have you checked with your MAP (merchant account provider) and electronic payment gateway to see if they support virtual checks?

    Normally, the bank has internet banking service. you can ask people to send the money to your account.
