    I am part of a startup company with no history of revenue, and this is the first time we've engaged in the affiliate market. We're looking for a formula that most accurately projects revenue we can generate from each affiliate network we use.

    We're looking for a ballpark figure (best case, probable case, worst case), as to not get bogged down with too many variables. Also, this is assuming we have strong content.

    Right now, we're using this formula to find out our projected revenue per thousand impressions:

    Average Conversion Rate * 1000 Impressions * Average Value of Transaction * Average Commission Rate = Revenue per Mille

    Is there a better way to project our earnings? Are we going about this the wrong way? We're looking for criticism and suggestions!
