Promoting via Myspace

One way I have found that gets a lot of friend requests (other than having a picture of a half naked chick on your profile) is to always post a comment on the featured profiles. Like the ones for movies coming out, or popular bands, or TV shows. These get thousands of hits, and your profiles views will jump from being in their comment sections.

 

I use whore trains.

Ya, get a sexy picture of a girl, and join whore trains and such, just search google for "Myspace trains".

 

I haven't used it yet - but haven't ruled it out.

 

ppl are hostile on myspace 0_o, I get told to F off alot of times when i request a friend. But im over 300 right now in a day as far as buddies go

i use myspace to advertise and it does bring good traffic, i have almost 500 friends though this helps, if anyone you want a myspace account with loads of friends hit me up, i can get you hundreds of friends even thousands.

 

I got about 20 more uniques a day but nothing ever got me any profits maybe a click or 2 but it wasnt worth it even advertising on my friends 20k friends list!

 

it depends on your friends and if they are just other webmasters fromt he whore train or popular people on my space

when people refer to many hits they get "from myspace," is this as a result of bulletins posted, comments posted, etc...where are the visits coming from specifically?

 

You all should really be careful promoting through MySpace, especially if it becomes your main source of traffic. They'll jack your pack in an instant if they see it's a huge promotion.

Is ahving web sites in the profile any use or do people have to be sending out messages (possibly viewed as spam) to see any traffic?

 

I can't believe how easy it is to get traffic with MySpace ...

 

Haha yea - just use simple tactics for your bulletins like "Myspace is closing", "Tom is gay", "Tom nude with JLO", etc.

Holy crap 100,000 thats alot. How many buddies do you have! I currently only have 600 but I picked em all up over the course of a few days. I'm working on a big project I will be rolling out in a month or so, and will be targetting a younger audience.
