URL Form Logging Script to Identify Abusers

In today's world, it is unfortunate that proxy owners can be held responsible for what their users do. With the ability to be anonymous comes much abuse, especially the viewing of illegal child pornography. And for all we know, there could even be terrorists using proxies to view bomb plans on the Internet!

Many proxy owners want to stop illegal activity on their proxy. However, this is a very difficult task. With the system I use, I have to first sort though my stats by looking at page titles visited by my users with Google Analytics. I then look at a list of URL's the proxy makes (for example index.php?/sd432j432kl4j0scdd3== ) and determine which one matches the page title (I can find this out by seeing if the length of visit values are the same). I must then download a log, search for the URL, and find the IP. Next, I need to actually visit the site (I hate this the most) and figure out if it really is illegal. If it is, I have to trace the IP, email the ISP, and attach the raw access log.

This is a very time consuming process. I think there is a better way to do this, creating a PHP script to log what URLs people input into a proxy web form as well as their IP and the date and time. With a web control panel for viewing the stats, finding illegal activity would be much easier to do!

Unfortunately, I have no PHP knowledge whatsoever :( . I would need to hire a programmer to make it or find someone nice nough to do it for free.

If anyone is interested in making this idea a reality or has an easier way of doing it, please reply here. If enough people show interest, I can look into how much it would cost to hire a programmer. Once I got a quote, we could get all get together and split the cost of the coding. When the script was completed, we could vote and either:
    A. Sell it to other proxies.
    B. Make it open source and offer it for free (I like this idea best).

If you are a programmer and are interested in making this idea a reality, please reply here, too.

Let me know what you think about the idea!
