PS Elements 6.0 or Paint shop Pro ?

I'm still thinking of which photo/image editor is best for my needs.

My primary use of it is for my clients who sends me .psd files and I cut up or copy images from the layers and build the site from it.

Photoshop elements surely won't have a problem but I wonder if Paintshop Pro will have a problem opening them? (I hope it won't get messed up like gimp does for me). PSD's generated from newer versions of Photoshop could be a problem too...

Also, can anyone tell me what I'll miss if I choose Elements over CS2/3 ?

If you're a student buy Photoshop, it costs the same as Elements when you're a student :)

Elements is older but if you're just using photoshop for basic things, it shouldn't be a problem. Just note that you cannot open some CS2/3 PSD files with elements.

I can :D I use Paint Shop Pro 9, and it is very user friendly, and there are PSD to PSP(Paint Sho Pro) converters out there as well.

I have never used PS Elements before though....
