Hi, the title really described me and what I'm suffering.
My new entertainment blog http://www.hipandpop.com/ gets good impressions (10k+ page views a day) but mostly for our front page and it's only showing PSAs - in fact my default page if there are no ads to be shown. but if you go to http://www.hipandpop.com/index.php everything seems ok.

What should I do to avoid those PSAs?

P.S: My blog is running adsense for about two weeks and when ads are targettted making 15+ bucks... that's why I need help :D

It seems to be working fine for me. The ads show up properly.

For me it is not - please be careful with my default page if there is no ad to be shown. I made them look like adsense ads, so visitors will give attention to look what's going on there and when real ads are shown it'll increase the CTR.

also no adlinks avaible for me on the front page...

Strange. The first time I loaded the domain it showed ads... but after I refreshed it's not showing anymore. I don't know what could be causing this, but perhaps you should try to 301 re-direct your domain to the full URL(http://www.hipandpop.com/index.php). That might help.

Otherwise contact Adsense and see what they have to say.
