Purpose of Facebook

Facebook is strictly for business for me. I've just begun toying with facebook ads and it is a goldmine that has been heavily mined (I am very late to the game). I used to only attempt to reach customers organically via facebook messages or outreach, but that is very hard to do these days. You need to pay to play on Today's Facebook.

That's why Zuckerberg is so rich now!

 

I agree with you in this issue. The future of Facebook, as I see it, is, that the "thinking" part of the world, the academic part, will eventually leave Facebook. Because the lack of quality, the lack of control of content. Facebook will remain, absolutely! But the gigantic data centres will eventually have a larger portion of no useful data. Data from either stupid people or fake accounts or a combination!

 

First time I use facebook for communicating friends. But now I use it for marketing.

 

I use Facebook to interact with people and like their post. And I also share tips and guide which I found useful so other can also benefit from them.

 

For me it's a mix. Facebook is a great way to get quality traffic to your blogs and sites. I also use Facebook to interact and keep up with friends and family.

 

You know how when you have a family function or a get together and everyone is sitting in a room talking. Well, Facebook is the online version of that in my world. It's also really good for getting traffic to certain websites I have such as Funny videos, pictures, weird and interesting ideas, etc.

 

I think people have a strong need for connection, and Facebook is one vehicle that can give a sense of being in touch and staying in touch with people, news and trends. Of course, FB had to put a commercial vehicle behind it and thus the adverts, and so far, people have put up with that aspect as the balance has not tipped too far yet to spark a mass exodus from the platform.

 

It is either for personal use or business use, though it can be both too since people are given an option to establish a page (for business purposes) that associated with the personal account.

 

Like most Facebook members I use it not just for connecting with family and friends or keeping up with what’s happening to their lives but also to reach my target market. I use Facebook as a tool to market my business and send message to my customers. It’s also a great tool to find potential clients and reconnect with your old ones.

 

I use it to sell affiliates and that's about it really, I have a personal account but don't use it much

Business and other brands create pages where they can post content, provide organizational news, offer deals, introduce products and manage customer service relationships.
