Putting Adsense On My Niche Site...??? Effective or Not??

Discussion in 'Placement / Reviews / Examples' started by WebmasterBuddy, Nov 13, 2008.

I am thinking about putting adsense ads on this website www.LinkLister.info but I am worried that it may take away potential customers from my site.

Do you think that it would be so much of a distraction as to lose potential customers, or do you think that it would be a good idea and I should blend in a few ads into the sales letter?

    Any input is valued.

    Thanks!

If you are earning well from the sales of your product, then why should you consider adsense in the first place? Don't forget, once the visitors click on the ad links, most likely he/she will lead to other pages and not returning back again to your site and thus you will end up losing the customers.

If you are selling something its not a good solution as you may end up giving customers to the same niche of site but you can have them on some blog related to your site or so for some extra bucks

I wouldnt. I always look at the sales pages like this that have adsense and think 'obviously they are not selling enough of their product.

Yes. You will lose potential customers i guess. Adsense had caused a large bounce in My Blog but fortunately i have earnings. If you have a site that sell products then don't use adsense.

the site is more of less getting less than a couple of hundred visits a day - they are not really targeted so no it would not make any difference one way or the other
